Despite a fine performance by shortstop Dennis Anderson, the Honolulu Waterspouts suffered a 5-3 loss to the Eureka Goldrush. Anderson went 4-4 with 3 doubles, while scoring 2 runs. Justin Voytovich got the save, his 1st in 1 chances. The Goldrush have now won 4 straight.

Early in the game, left fielder Bobby Serino had a 2-run home run for Eureka. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Goldrush on top, 2-0.

"Enjoyed this one," Serino told the Eureka Gazette. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
