Late Rally by Hullabaloo Seals 5th Straight Win
|
The Bangor Devil Bears got a superb performance from third baseman Elijah Moody, but the Kalamazoo Hullabaloo still won the game, 7-6. Moody was named the player of the game despite the loss. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The win was Todd Elzea's in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Kyle MacLeod took the loss for Bangor. The second-place Hullabaloo have won 5 in a row.
Daryl Prince was the walk-off hero for Kalamazoo. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Hullabaloo pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"It was a nice win for our side today," said Hullabaloo manager Jason Eberle. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
