Cheesepressers Lose, 4-3, at Durex Field
The Little Rock Mighty Cocks defeated the Toledo Cheesepressers, 4-3, at Durex Field today. Leading the charge for Little Rock was catcher Jeremy Denard. He went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs. Tim Mahanes sewed up the save, his 1st. Little Rock, now 2-0, is setting the league on fire so far.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, left fielder Kyle Corbe came through big-time for the Mighty Cocks. With Little Rock leading 3-1, he belted a solo home run.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Denard told the Little Rock Daily.
