Goldrush Lose, 5-2, at Coconuts Park

The Honolulu Waterspouts picked up a win at Coconuts Park, knocking off the Eureka Goldrush, 5-2. Starting pitcher Ryan Grosso played a key role in the triumph. Grosso, now 14-7, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing 2 earned runs. Honolulu currently is in third place in the United League West Division at 60-56.
The Waterspouts got a big at-bat from left fielder Mark Reichert. For the game, Reichert went 1-2 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 15th double of the season gave Honolulu a 2-0 lead.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Grosso said.
