Hullabaloo Slip Past Havana, 5-4
|
Havana right fielder Aaron Rappuhn had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 5-4, to Kalamazoo at The Zoo. Rappuhn was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Mike Huntington picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-2. Jason Slater was tagged with the loss. Kalamazoo is now 62-48, Havana 49-61.
Kalamazoo won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With one out and Jason Slater on the mound for Havana, designated hitter Gui Hark hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Hullabaloo fans to their feet.
"This joint was rocking," said Hark.
