Hullabaloo Win at New Haven, 8-4
|
The Kalamazoo Hullabaloo got a rather unremarkable outing from starting pitcher Miguel Olea, but it was good enough for the club to take a 8-4 decision over the New Haven Tempest. Picking up the save was Todd Elzea, his 3rd. Kalamazoo now sits in second place in the United League Central Division at 63-49.
Kalamazoo took the lead in the top of the seventh. With no one out and a runner on 1st, Gui Hark stroked a run-scoring triple to make it 1-0, Hullabaloo.
"I still think this team has room for improvement," Hark told the Kalamazoo Gazette.
