Waterspouts Need Extras to Top Kingfishers
The Waterspouts had to overcome a fine performance from Corpus Christi pitcher Bobby Alvarez to grab a 3-0 win at Fallow Field. Alvarez allowed no earned runs over 8 innings. Tony Sanchez sewed up the save, his 20th. The third-place Waterspouts improved to 50-63.

Alvarez gave Honolulu a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings.
