Morales Shackles Boise
Jordan Morales of the Toledo Cheesepressers spun his magic on the Boise Idahosies today. He blanked them 13-0 on 3 hits, registering 11 strikeouts and 1 walk.

"The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Morales said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down."

Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, Toledo skipper Matt Perrone said the team "got solid pitching, good defense and took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations."

"Jordan pitched really well but this was a solid performance by everyone," he said.

This season Morales has chalked up 1 save, notched a 5-6 record with a 3.66 ERA, allowed 98 hits in his 115.2 innings of work, struck out 93 and walked 33. Opponents are hitting .230 against the Toledo hurler.
