Honolulu Waterspouts starter Ryan LaVoie turned in an exceptional performance against the New Haven Tempest at Coconuts Park, resulting in a Honolulu win, 2-1. Lorenzo Sierra notched his 35th save in 36 chances. The Waterspouts bumped their record to 70-54 with this latest triumph.

Dennis Anderson, who is tied for 5th in the UL with a .565 slugging percentage, aided the Honolulu cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the shortstop was 1 for 4.
