Knoxville Beats Toledo, 4-1

Knoxville and Toledo duked it out at Velveeta Field and the Running Rebels came out victorious.
Knoxville rode a fine outing from starter Noe Cardenas to victory over the Toledo Cheesepressers at Velveeta Field. The final score was 4-1. Jason Spronk locked down his 27th save.
Bedric Sula had a big 2-run home run for the Running Rebels in the top of the second inning. With Knoxville leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a changeup from Travis Storm and stroked the home run to left. It was his 10th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Running Rebels ahead, 3-0.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Cardenas.
Knoxville now sits at 66-50, while Toledo falls to 74-42.
