Hullabaloo Come Up Short at Wichita
|
The Wichita Warlocks reigned over the Kalamazoo Hullabaloo in damp conditions at Propel Fitness Water Field.
Wichita rode a good effort from starter Ricardo Perez to beat the Kalamazoo Hullabaloo at Propel Fitness Water Field. The final score was 3-2. The third-place Warlocks are now 57-59, the Hullabaloo 64-52.
Takanobu Nozaki was a key contributor to the win for the Warlocks. In the bottom of the seventh with two out, the light-hitting second baseman stroked a single to center. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Nozaki said after the game.
