Saskatoon Platoon starter Chris Perron was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Honolulu Waterspouts, 7-3. Perron, now 7-9, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 6, walking 2, and allowing 3 earned runs. Saskatoon occupies last place in the United League West Division at 51-65.

Also making an impact was shortstop Ezequiel Santovenia, who drilled a 2-run single in the bottom of the fourth inning for the Platoon. For the game, Santovenia went 3-4 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
