Taute Now 9-4 After Subduing Black Aces
|
The Honolulu Waterspouts went home winners at Sam's Club Memorial Field, thanks in large part to starter Joel Taute. Taute silenced the Lincoln Black Aces, enabling Honolulu to grab the 4-1 win. Honolulu, at 66-60, occupies third place in the United League West Division.
Taute allowed no earned runs on 2 hits over 8 innings for the Waterspouts. He walked 1 and struck out 4.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Honolulu manager Claribette Del Rosario.
