Cheesepressers Get Win, Extend Streak to 10
|
Toledo Cheesepressers starter Marshall Pazar was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Corpus Christi Kingfishers, 4-1. The winning pitcher was Pazar, now 14-7. He tossed 6 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 3. Picking up the save was Alvin Biter, his 32nd.
Toledo took control in the top of the sixth. With two out and a runner on 3rd, Rich LaBelle hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Cheesepressers.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Pazar.
The winning continues for Toledo, with the latest making it 10 straight.
