Waterspouts Drop Graybirds, 3-1

The Honolulu Waterspouts got a stellar effort from pitcher Andy Rodriguez, helping Honolulu score a 3-1 win over the visiting Reno Graybirds. Honolulu reliever Chad McCloskey was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Jeremy Wilson took the loss for Reno. Honolulu now sits in third place in the United League West Division at 54-66.
Honolulu took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning, when Danny Flores hit a clutch 2-run home run to bring Waterspouts fans to their feet.
"I found a nice groove out there," said Rodriguez.
