Boise rode a decent outing from starter Prokop Matejka to victory over the Honolulu Waterspouts at Coconuts Park. The final score was 3-2. Matejka, now 8-11, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing 2 earned runs. With the win, the Idahosies improved to 60-62.
Bobby Roof aided the Boise cause with a run-scoring ground out in the top of the first. For the game, the third baseman went 1 for 4.
