Conditions were not ideal but Toledo and Little Rock were able to put their game in the books.

The Toledo Cheesepressers beat the Little Rock Mighty Cocks, 7-4, at Durex Field. Toledo designated hitter John Roberts earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Jason Hoose converted his 42nd save in 43 tries.

Roberts had a big at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the top of the fifth inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Cheesepressers went on to win.

"We'll try to build on that win," Roberts told the Toledo Daily News.

The first-place Cheesepressers have won 5 in a row.
