Loss to Hullabaloo Extends Des Moines Losing Streak
|
The first-place Kalamazoo Hullabaloo welcomed Des Moines to The Zoo.
Kalamazoo turned a good effort from starter Steve Wood into a win over the Des Moines Pharaohs at The Zoo. The final score was 4-2. Devon Pavese finished the game for Kalamazoo and earned his 33rd save.
Kalamazoo designated hitter Ed Duron helped the Hullabaloo go up, 4-2, in the bottom of the fifth inning. With the game tied, Duron hit a 2-run triple off Des Moines pitcher Adam Walker.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Kalamazoo manager Jason Eberle.
The losses continue to mount for Des Moines, which has now dropped 8 in a row.
