Idahosies Fall Short, 4-3, at Honolulu
|
Honolulu and Boise duked it out at Coconuts Park and the Waterspouts came out victorious.
Rodger Moores pitched well, but the Boise Idahosies still lost the game, falling 4-3 to the Honolulu Waterspouts at Coconuts Park. With the win, Honolulu has a record of 55-68. Boise falls to 60-63.
Tied up with the Idahosies in the bottom of the fifth inning, the Waterspouts got a boost from left fielder Mike Lynn. With the bases empty, Lynn saw a 1-1 changeup from Rodger Moores and hit a solo home run to break the stalemate and put Honolulu on top, 4-3.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Lynn told the Honolulu Observer.
