Waterspouts Trounce Sentinels, 10-3
|
Honolulu starter R.J. Fallon pitched effectively against the Cheyenne Sentinels at Coconuts Park. The right-hander led his team to a 10-3 win. Fallon, the winner, moves to 10-6. He threw 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 2 walks. Honolulu is now 75-49, 4 games up in the United League West Division.
Honolulu took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Tom Kerber hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Waterspouts.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Kerber.
