Waterspouts Beat Sentinels, 4-2
|
Honolulu Waterspouts starter Dennis Cook turned in a top-notch performance against the Cheyenne Sentinels at Coconuts Park. The result was a win for the Waterspouts, 4-2. Cook picked up the win for Honolulu, going 7 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 11-5. With the win over Cheyenne, the Waterspouts improved to 76-49.
Elijah Palmer's at-bat in the bottom of the fifth was significant for the Waterspouts. Coming to the plate with the bases loaded and Honolulu leading 3-2, the center fielder grounded out, driving in 1 run.
"I really like what we did out there today," Palmer said after the game.
