Radcliff Excels in New Haven Win
Behind a solid performance from right fielder Bill Radcliff, the New Haven Tempest defeated the Honolulu Waterspouts, 12-6. Radcliff was 4-5 with 4 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for the Tempest. New Haven reliever Will Engle got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Alejandro Santos was tagged with the loss. The Waterspouts fall to 5-8 and continue their lackluster start to the 2025 season.

Radcliff had a game-changing single in the top of the eighth. On a first pitch fastball from Alejandro Santos, he banged a 2-run single to left, giving the Tempest a 8-6 lead. It was the 14th hit of the year for Radcliff.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Radcliff told the New Haven Times.
