Waterspouts Come Up Short at Topeka
|
The Topeka Bulldogs topped the Honolulu Waterspouts, 3-2, in Patriot League action at Lenscrafters 20/20 Park. The player of the game was Topeka pitcher and Cheektowaga, New York native Elijah Frazier. The winning pitcher was Frazier, now 15-8. He tossed 7 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 7. Picking up the save was Chad Hopper, his 11th.
The Bulldogs got a big at-bat from second baseman Travis Noble. For the game, Noble was 1 for 4. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 110th hit of the season gave Topeka a 3-2 lead.
