Josh Boswell did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Saskatoon Platoon from losing, 12-8, to the Kalamazoo Hullabaloo at The Zoo. Boswell went 3-4 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Kalamazoo now has a 3-game win streak.

The Hullabaloo got a big at-bat from designated hitter Jared Cartwright. For the game, Cartwright was 2 for 5 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 41st home run of the season gave Kalamazoo a 5-3 lead.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling pretty confident after that win," said Cartwright.
