|
Tallahassee rode a good effort from starter Chris Varner to beat the Kalamazoo Hullabaloo at Pirate Pete's Putt-Putt & Family Fun Complex. The final score was 3-2. Tallahassee is now 62-67, while Kalamazoo is 87-42.
Tallahassee took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With no one out, center fielder David Balsiger hit a solo home run that set the crowd abuzz.
"We take it day by day here," said Balsiger, "and today was a good one for us."
