Lincoln Black Aces starter Jody McDaniel kept the Honolulu Waterspouts hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 8-0 win. With the win over Honolulu, the Black Aces improved to 61-67.

The Black Aces got a big at-bat from designated hitter Salvador Garica. For the game, Garica was 2-5 with 2 singles. In the top of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 24th hit of the season gave Lincoln a 1-0 lead.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said McDaniel.
