Waterspouts Lose to Kingfishers, 3-1
Corpus Christi beat Honolulu on the strength of starter Ben Hardenberg's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 3-1 win. Picking up the save was Eric Longley, his 4th. The Kingfishers are off to a tough start, getting just their 6th win in 15 games.

The Kingfishers beat the Waterspouts in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out single Mike Johnston produced in the bottom of the third. Batting against Honolulu pitcher Ben Ramey, Johnston gave his team a 2-0 lead when he hit a 2-run single.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Hardenberg.
