Tyler Kane was instrumental in his team's 6-2 triumph over the Honolulu Waterspouts. The right fielder was 2-5 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Erie Phantoms. Erie reliever Alex Pineda picked up the win to move to 2-4. Chad McCloskey suffered the loss. Erie now has a 3-game win streak.

Kane had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the 12th. On a first pitch curveball from Chad McCloskey, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Phantoms a 6-2 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Kane.

"Today was a lot of fun," said Kane.
