The Kalamazoo Hullabaloo bested the Thunder Bay Corsairs, 7-6, at The Zoo. Matt McGrogan was named player of the game. He was 2-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Devon Pavese got credit for the save for Kalamazoo. It was his 36th of the year. The Hullabaloo, at 89-43, have a comfortable 28-game lead in their division.
Kalamazoo took a 7-6 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning, when Astolfo Coronel hit a clutch 3-run home run to bring Hullabaloo fans to their feet.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said McGrogan.
