Waterspouts Come Back Late to Clip Phantoms
The Erie Phantoms got a superb performance from designated hitter Tyler Kane, but the Honolulu Waterspouts still won the game, 6-5. Kane was named the player of the game despite the loss. He was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Honolulu reliever Billy Ochoa picked up the win, bumping his record to 5-4. Alex Pineda was collared with the loss. Yong-hoon Chun converted his 1st save in 3 tries.

This game was not decided until late. With one out in the top of the ninth, Danny Flores hit a sacrifice fly. The Waterspouts took the lead, 6-5.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling pretty confident after that win," said Flores.

Honolulu improves to 76-56 with the win. They lead their division by 6 games.
