Dominant Performance by Vasquez in Little Rock Win

The Little Rock Mighty Cocks and New Haven Tempest played an exciting game at Durex Field.
Getting an impressive start from Eddie Vasquez, Little Rock beat New Haven by the score of 3-2. Tim Mahanes finished the game for Little Rock and earned his 25th save.
The Tempest had few good swings against Vasquez, the right-hander, who threw 118 pitches over 8 innings. He allowed just 2 runs on 1 hit.
After the game, Little Rock manager John Moore applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
With the win, Little Rock has a record of 80-56. New Haven falls to 77-59.
