The Honolulu Waterspouts turned back the Saskatoon Platoon, 5-4, at Coconuts Park. Travis Arnall was named player of the game for his fine performance. He went 3 for 4 with 3 singles. He scored 2 times. Joel Taute picked up the win with 5 innings of work. He allowed 1 earned run on 6 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 3. On the season, he is now 11-9. Honolulu is in second place in the United League West Division with a record of 83-62.
Early in the game, shortstop Dennis Anderson had a 2-run home run for Honolulu. It was his 32nd home run of the season and put the Waterspouts on top, 2-0.
