The Honolulu Waterspouts dealt the Kalamazoo Hullabaloo a 8-3 loss at The Zoo. Bubba Miller was the star on offense. He was 2-3 with a triple and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. Honolulu, at 79-59, occupies first place in the United League West Division.

Colin Allen, who is a three-time All-Star, aided the Honolulu cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth. For the game, the catcher went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles.
