Des Moines and Honolulu duked it out at Coconuts Park and the Pharaohs came out victorious.

Des Moines second baseman Allen Goodbar was instrumental in his team's 8-5 win over the Honolulu Waterspouts. Goodbar, who is rated as the 15th best prospect by BNN, went 1-3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Pharaohs. Nate Taylor, credited with the win, is now 10-14. He allowed 3 runs on 9 hits in 7 innings. Picking up the save was Dave Buritica, his 5th.

Goodbar had a big at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the top of the second inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Pharaohs went on to win.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Des Moines manager John Hann.

Des Moines is now riding a 3-game win streak.
