The Kalamazoo Hullabaloo and Corpus Christi Kingfishers completed their game despite the inclement weather.
The Kalamazoo Hullabaloo topped the Corpus Christi Kingfishers, 4-1, in United League action at Fallow Field. The player of the game was Kalamazoo pitcher Danny Levy. Levy, the winner, moves to 15-9. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 2 and giving up 1 walk. Earning his 22nd save of the year was Jimmy Cady.
In the top of the third, Jeremy Russell hit a 2-run double for Kalamazoo. The 33rd double of the season for the Kalamazoo first baseman put the Hullabaloo on top, 2-0.
"We'll savor this win," Levy told the Kalamazoo Today, "then get ready for the next game."
Kalamazoo is now 78-70.
