The Kalamazoo Hullabaloo scored a 3-2 win versus the Reno Graybirds at Harris Interactive Arena. Kalamazoo pitcher Leo Rojas nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Rojas, now 13-7, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 5, walking 0, and allowing 1 earned run. Elias Sanchez got credit for the save for Kalamazoo. It was his 18th of the year.
The Hullabaloo got a big at-bat from designated hitter Gui Hark. For the game, Hark went 1 for 4 with a double. In the top of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 30th double of the season gave Kalamazoo a 3-2 lead.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Kalamazoo manager Jason Eberle.
Kalamazoo bumps their record to 78-62 with the win.
