Quinn Dazzles in New Haven Win
|
New Haven Tempest starter John Quinn was in fine form against the El Paso Sweathogs at Hartford Courant Center, leading his team to a 4-1 win. New Haven is now 99-56, 13½ games up in the United League East Division.
The Sweathogs had trouble solving Quinn, who surrendered 1 earned run on 5 hits over 8 innings.
"We had a good game plan," Quinn said, "and we were able to execute it."
