Marc Seibel pitched well, but his team, the Savannah Pride, still dropped a 4-2 decision to the Honolulu Waterspouts at Haggar Pants Park. Andy Rodriguez got the win, improving to 3-1. He worked 6 innings, giving up 2 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 0. The Pride, now 5-11, continue their poor start.
The Waterspouts got a big at-bat from designated hitter Mike Lynn. For the game, Lynn was 1-2 with a triple and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Honolulu a 1-0 lead.
Savannah manager John Muir said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
