Cheesepressers Bang Out 6-1 Win Versus Kalamazoo
Toledo turned a good effort from starter Michael Ponce into a win over the Kalamazoo Hullabaloo at Velveeta Field. The final score was 6-1. The Cheesepressers keep rolling, raising their record to 13-4.

The Cheesepressers beat the Hullabaloo in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out home run Bob Hauser produced in the bottom of the second. Batting against Kalamazoo pitcher Steve Wood, Hauser gave his team a 4-0 lead when he hit a grand slam.

"We did a lot of things right," said Hauser.
