Pride Deal Waterspouts 6-3 Setback
|
Fans at Haggar Pants Park were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Savannah Pride take on the Honolulu Waterspouts.
The Savannah Pride picked up a win at Haggar Pants Park, knocking off the Honolulu Waterspouts, 6-3. Starting pitcher Andy Richardson was an essential part of his team's success. Matt Bursley earned the save for Savannah, his 4th of the year.
In the bottom of the third, Malcolm Grissett hit a 3-run home run for Savannah. The 1st home run of the season for the Savannah right fielder put the Pride on top, 4-1.
"I had pretty good command out there," said Richardson.
The Waterspouts fall to 7-10 and continue their uneasy start to the 2025 season.
