Hullabaloo Bang Out 9-5 Win Versus Knoxville
|
The Kalamazoo Hullabaloo bested the Knoxville Running Rebels by a score of 9-5, with third baseman Jason Brown getting the main credit. On the day, Brown was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 times for the Hullabaloo. The winner was Sam Dallas, who threw 104 pitches over 7 innings. The left-hander was charged with 4 runs on 7 hits. The Hullabaloo, with just their 6th win so far in 2018, have yet to catch fire.
With a runner on 1st and no one out in the top of the fifth inning, left fielder Nick Knickle delivered big for the Hullabaloo. Kalamazoo was leading 3-2 when he belted a 2-run home run.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Brown, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
