Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Jason Tilson, the Savannah Wildcats defeated the Honolulu Waterspouts, 9-2. Tilson went 2 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5 for the Wildcats. Stuart Cruz closed the game out for Savannah, earning his 1st save. At 12-6, the Wildcats have played well so far.

In the top of the third, Mike Griffiths hit a run-scoring double for Savannah. The 4th double of the season for the Savannah right fielder put the Wildcats on top, 1-0.

"We're in a marathon, not a sprint," said Griffiths. "But I like how we're playing right now."
