Victory Pushes Platoon Record to 10-9
|
Platoon second baseman Tae-geun Ock put his stamp on his team's 6-2 win over the New Haven Tempest. Ock was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for Saskatoon in the contest. Chris Perron was the winning pitcher. Over 6 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 8 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts. New Haven, at 4-15, is off to a poor start in 2026.
Early in the game, left fielder Vince Allbritton had a 2-run home run for Saskatoon. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Platoon on top, 2-0.
"There's a lot of passion in our clubhouse," said Allbritton. "When we put it together we're a great ball club."
