Holms Hits 2 home runs in Pharaohs Win
|
A 6-RBI performance from Jamie Holms, who is tied for 10th in the UL in RBI with 18, helped the Des Moines Pharaohs beat the Toledo Cheesepressers, 10-4. Des Moines is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 7th win in 19 games.
Holms had a key at-bat for Des Moines early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and gave Des Moines an early 3-0 lead.
"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Danny Fisher said.
