Bailey Goes Wild, But Cheesepressers Win
Tucson right fielder Bill Bailey had a good game, even if his team did not. The Fighting Beetles dropped a 9-7 decision to Toledo at Velveeta Field. Bailey was 3-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The winner was Travis Storm, who threw 81 pitches over 5 innings. The right-hander was charged with 4 runs on 5 hits. The Cheesepressers, now 16-4, have been on a roll in the early going.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, catcher Bob Hauser came through big-time for the Cheesepressers. With Toledo leading 6-5, he belted a 3-run home run.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Hauser said.
