Toledo left fielder Bobby Ware had a good game, even if his team did not. The Cheesepressers dropped a 8-7 decision to Tucson at Kmart Park. Ware went 3-4 with 2 home runs, a double, and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. With the win, Tucson elevates its record to 9-12.

Tucson won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With one out and Alvin Biter on the mound for Toledo, center fielder David Galindo hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Fighting Beetles fans to their feet.

"This place went bonkers at the end," Galindo said.
