Victory Over Devil Bears Takes Honolulu to 15-6
Benefiting from Malik Anderson's productive game, the Honolulu Waterspouts downed the Bangor Devil Bears, 5-1. Anderson was 3-3 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Waterspouts. Israel Garcia, credited with the win, is now 3-1. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1 innings. Ryan Ball, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 7th save.

Anderson had a game-changing single in the bottom of the seventh. On a 2-2 fastball from Jake Black, he banged a 2-run single to center, giving the Waterspouts a 3-1 lead. It was the 13th hit of the year for Anderson.

"It was a solid team effort," said Anderson after the game.

The Devil Bears fall to 7-14 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2026 season.
