Spirited fans at Hartford Courant Center greeted the New Haven Tempest for their clash with the Honolulu Waterspouts.

Honolulu starter Ryan Grosso pitched effectively against the New Haven Tempest at Hartford Courant Center. The right-hander led his team to a 6-2 win. Honolulu, now 16-5, has played well in the early going.

The Waterspouts got a big at-bat from shortstop Dennis Anderson. For the game, Anderson was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. In the top of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Honolulu a 3-1 lead.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Anderson said.
