Reinders 'Lights Out' in Des Moines Win
Des Moines rode a good effort from starter Steve Reinders to beat the Kalamazoo Hullabaloo at Tractor Supply Company Park. The final score was 3-2. The Hullabaloo fall to 11-12 and continue their wobbly start to the 2026 season.

Reinders, the winner, is now 1-3 after putting the clamps on the Kalamazoo offense. In 8 innings of work, he gave up no earned runs on 5 hits, while collecting 11 Ks.

"It's a mindset," said Reinders. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
