Extra-Inning Win by Tempest over Devil Bears
The New Haven Tempest dealt the Bangor Devil Bears a 10-6 loss at Red Lobster Arena. Marcus Butts was the star on offense. He went 3-5 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Tempest have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 6th win in 23 games.

Butts had a game-changing single in the top of the 11th. On a full count fastball from Jake Black, he banged a 2-run single to center, giving the Tempest a 7-5 lead. It was the 12th hit of the year for Butts.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Butts.
